Every day, we will post a few brief prayers inspired by the Liturgy of the Hours.
O Lord, open my lips. And my mouth shall declare your praise.
Psalm 90:14-17
In the morning, fill us with your love; we shall exult and rejoice all our days. Give us joy to balance our affliction for the years when we knew misfortune. Show forth your work to your servants; let your glory shine on their children. Let the favor of the Lord be upon us: give success to the work of our hands, give success to the work of our hands.
Reading: Isaiah 55:6-7
Seek the Lord while he may be found, call him while he is near. Let the scoundrel forsake his way, and the wicked man his thoughts; Let him turn to the Lord for mercy; to our God, who is generous in forgiving.
The Canticle of Mary
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, My spirit rejoices in God, my Savior for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant. From this day all generations will call me blessed: the Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is his Name.

Draw bishops, priests, and deacons closer to you. Jesus, come and save us! May our hearts thirst for you. Jesus, come and save us! Forgive us our sins. Jesus, come and save us!
Merciful Father, May everything we do begin with your inspiration, continue with your help, and reach perfection under your guidance. We ask this in the name of Jesus, your Son, who lives with you and the Holy Spirit forever. Amen.
