The Canticle of Mary
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, My spirit rejoices in God, my Savior for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant. From this day all generations will call me blessed: the Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is his Name.
Forgive us for the times we have offended you. Have mercy on your people! Turn our hearts to seek you above all else. Have mercy on your people! Bring those who have died into your Kingdom. Have mercy on your people!
Dear Father, You sent your Son into the world that he might draw us back to you. As we contemplate his Passion, Death, and Resurrection, may we be truly sorry for our sins and strive to please you in all we do. We ask this through Jesus your Son in union with the Holy Spirit. Amen.
