Yesterday we celebrated the Conversion of St. Paul and today we celebrate the memorial of two of his friends. It seems very right to celebrate these friends together. Without St. Paul, we would know very little about them. Yet, on the other hand, St. Paul found them very necessary in his ministry. He called them his children and spoke to them and about them very affectionately. Once again, we consider the importance of Christian friendship. We need to support each other on the way to Heaven.
