This robin-sized gray bird lives up to its name. An adult mockingbird may know as many as 200 songs! These birds imitate the songs and calls of many other birds. Mockingbirds like to sing so much that sometimes they even sing at night! Mockingbirds are very aggressive towards other birds that get too near to their nests. They will often chase other birds and sometimes they even land on their backs. These birds eat fruit and insects so if you have berry bushes, you might see them in your yard.
